Big Sean says Kendrick Lamar apologised for leaked diss on ‘ELEMENT.’

According to the latest news, rapper Big Sean has revealed that Kendrick Lamar apologised to him in private after he recorded a diss on ‘Element.’ Appearing for an interview with Charlamagne Tha God, the Detroit rapper addressed a 2019 demo leak of the track which appeared on Lamar’s album ‘DAMN’ in 2017. Though the 2019 demo featured some lines changed in the final version, it exposed Lamar having dissed Big Sean, who was then dating R& B singer Jhene Aiko. Lamar apparently said: “Big Sean keeps sneak dissing, I let it slide, I think his false confidence got him inspired, I can’t make them respect you, baby, it’s not my job, you’re Finally Famous for who you date, not how you rhyme.”

Sean confirmed that the feud between him and Lamar came to an end many years ago, with Lamar sending him texts which included a private apology for his diss on ‘ELEMENT.’ In the interview, Sean shared the texts he received from Kendrick Lamar, and his response, in which the Compton rapper admitted to going too far with his diss and apologised. Sean responded by saying that he would not take care of the clout just because everyone knew of the issue. Recently, Big Sean also refuted rumours about Kanye West leaking his album, ‘Better Me Than You.’

In 2017, Kendrick Lamar’s album ‘DAMN’ was reviewed by NME and received a four-star rating. The review commended Lamar for displaying various ideas, thoughts and feelings, from sexual tension to deep dark depression, amidst a battle between good and evil, with some chart-friendly rap bangers. According to the NME critic, Lamar appears to be spiritual but tormented, confused, and ego-tripping all at the same time, and hence, being Kendrick Lamar is likely to be quite exhausting.

Although the feud between Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar had taken place some years ago, the private apology from Lamar to Sean has put it to rest for good. Big Sean, it appears, is the sort of rapper who will not give in to the clout just because everyone expects him to do so
