Berlin Atonal has announced the launch of OPENLESS, which is scheduled to take place in August 2024. The project will be held at the Kraftwerk powerplant over three nights, with two line-ups at the Tresor/Globus complex and two aftershows at OHM. The event features 15 world-premiere performances that examine the concept of identity, colonial amnesia and displacement, among other topics, through musical compositions, audiovisual shows and sensory experiences.
The Tresor and Globus complex will feature Carrier and Datashader, Special Request, Ehua and Laurel Halo, while OHM will welcome Aircode, Yao Bobby and Simon Grab, among others. A rare live show by Simo Cell will also take place, with Quiet Husband, Doctor Jeep and 2K88 on the billing for the following day.
More information on the linked themes for each day of OPENLESS can be found on Berlin Atonal’s Instagram page. Tickets for OHM will be available on the door, while tickets to each concert night and club programme are available for purchase. Combo tickets that provide access to both Kraftwerk and Tresor/Globus for the day are also available.
