The track, co-produced by The Dare and Finneas, features Eilish’s whispered cadence for the suggestive dance track, marking a deviation from her recent album “Hit Me Hard and Soft”. The music video, directed by Aidan Zamiri, shows Charli in a living room with The Dare playing DJ in the corner before Eilish bulldozes her way into the party.
The video takes a surreal turn as Charli leaves the party with Eilish and they make their way to a towering pile of bras and underwear. The press release states that the video’s undergarments were donated to I Support The Girls, a non-profit organisation dedicated to distributing essentials for people experiencing homelessness. Zamiri revealed in an Instagram post that the music video was shot on Sunday, July 28 and that about “10 thousand panties” were used.
Eilish expressed her love for Charli and gratitude for being a part of the project on her Instagram page. Charli recently responded to op-eds that declared the end of her wildly successful Brat summer, saying there was more new music on the way. Fans speculated that singer Chappell Roan will feature on a forthcoming Charli track after Roan shared a selfie holding a CD copy of Brat.
Billie Eilish has become the youngest artist to reach 100 million monthly Spotify listeners, with just 82 songs
