Rhino Records has announced that it will be releasing a new album from Fleetwood Mac titled ‘Mirage Tour ’82’. The live album will feature tracks recorded during the band’s “Mirage” tour, with six previously unreleased recordings that were captured at the band’s two concerts at the Forum in Los Angeles that year. The six new songs will include classics like ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Dreams’, ‘Oh Well’, ‘Never Going Back Again’, ‘Landslide’, and ‘Sara’.
The new album will be available in three formats: digital, 2x CD, and 3x LP vinyl. Pre-orders of the album’s vinyl and CD sets are now available and it will release on September 20. The total tracklist of the album will contain 22 tracks.
This news comes after band member Stevie Nicks headlined BST Hyde Park in London earlier this month, where she was joined onstage by Harry Styles for an emotional tribute to fellow band member, Christine McVie, with ‘Landslide’. During the tribute, they also performed Nicks’ 1981 collaboration with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, ‘Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around’.
In other news, Mick Fleetwood expressed he would like to see “a healing” between Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham in the future. This statement has fans hopeful for a complete reunion tour in the future. Fans can relive the band’s past with ‘Mirage Tour ’82’, which is sure to be a hit among both fans of classic rock and younger audiences alike
