The sale is to recognize Barker’s achievement of conquering his fear of flying after surviving a devastating plane crash in 2008 that killed four other onboard, including two of his best friends. Barker suffered from third-degree burns that covered over two-thirds of his body and required 26 surgeries and three months in the hospital.

Proceeds from the sale of the boarding pass will go to the Lost But Not Forgotten charity, which supports teenagers in crisis. Barker crossed out the Qantas boarding pass with a pen and wrote, “I know I got angels watching over me,” and it is currently priced at $8,000 (£6,220).
Blink-182 is currently on tour across North America and is scheduled to headline alongside Liam Gallagher, Lana Del Rey, Fred Again.., Gerry Cinnamon, and Catfish & the Bottlemen for the Reading & Leeds festival later this year.
