Justin Timberlake’s lawyer has denied that the singer was driving under the influence when he was arrested last month. The charges against Timberlake claim that he refused a breath test when he was arrested after being accused of driving while under the influence.

Ed Burke Jr, Timberlake’s lawyer, has claimed that Timberlake was “not intoxicated” and added that the officers responding to the incident made several significant errors in the case. Burke said that Timberlake had cooperated with the police fully and that they had made mistakes, just like everyone else.

Timberlake was released without bail and has only been charged with a single count of driving while intoxicated. The singer was not present during the hearing relating to his arrest, but he thanked his fans for their support during a Chicago concert following his arrest.

During the concert, Timberlake addressed the situation and called it a “tough week”. He also wiped away tears, saying that he knew he could be difficult to love but that his fans had continued to love him nonetheless.
