Bruce Springsteen made one couple’s dream come true while performing at Wembley Stadium on July 25. During his performance of ‘The Promised Land’, Springsteen spotted a handmade sign in the front row that read “My boyfriend will propose if he can have your harmonica”. After finishing the song, Springsteen walked over to the couple and took the sign from them in which the stadium erupted with applause. Springsteen then handed the couple his harmonica and shook their hands.
In addition to the couple’s proposal, Springsteen performed a number of hits including “Born to Run”, “I’ll See You In My Dreams”, and “Thunder Road”. He began the first of his two shows at Wembley Stadium on July 25 and will wrap up his UK and Ireland tour on Saturday, July 27.
Springsteen has made headlines recently for his staggering net worth, which topped $1.1 billion according to Forbes. With over 140 million global album sales, the Boss has released 21 studio albums, seven live albums, and five EPs in his six-decade career. Additionally, his forthcoming documentary Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band was recently confirmed to release on Hulu and Disney+ in October.
