BLACKPINK’s Lisa becomes Louis Vuitton’s newest brand ambassador

Louis Vuitton has announced BLACKPINK’s Lisa as its latest brand ambassador. The K-pop star previously worked with fellow LVMH-owned brand Celine until last month when she stepped down as a global ambassador. Speaking of her appointment, the brand said that Lisa’s “achievements speak to values at the core of Louis Vuitton – a passion for creativity combined with a commitment to excellence in one’s craft.” Meanwhile, Lisa praised Louis Vuitton women’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière, saying that his “identity is strongly reflected in the designs that he creates and that is what makes Louis Vuitton pieces so special”.

Ghesquière similarly praised Lisa for her “daring spirit and charisma,” which he called “incredibly compelling.” He added that the Thai singer is “as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”Lisa also spoke to ELLE about her new ambassadorship with Louis Vuitton. She said that she “feels so honoured to be working with such a great brand that I admire” and is “really looking forward to making greater moments with Louis Vuitton.”
