Rapper JPEGMAFIA has just dropped his latest single, ‘Sin Miedo’ – which means ‘no fear’ in English. It is his second solo single of the year and features metal guitars that blend rock, hip-hop, electronic, and dance elements. The track also uses a sample of 2 Live Crew’s ‘Hoochie Mama’. This song follows his June 17 release ‘don’t rely on other men’. The artist has premiered a music video that includes him performing while under a highway overpass and driving around while wearing a cowboy hat.
JPEGMAFIA (real name Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks) has been working on a new project and announced last year that he would release three albums in 2023, but so far has released only one joint album with Danny Brown called ‘SCARING THE HOES: VOL 1’, as well as the four-track EP ‘Scaring the Hoes: DLC Pack’. However, the rapper keeps fans optimistic with his Instagram announcement confirming that his second solo album will be released soon.
In addition to his album, JPEGMAFIA has also announced his tour dates in countries like the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and the US. The UK and Ireland shows will take place between January 30 and February 6 next year, with later shows in Australia and New Zealand taking place in February and March. Meanwhile, he is set to start his US and Canada shows from August 7 and wrap up on September 21.
This year, JPEGMAFIA has also issued an apology to fans for his previous actions and behavior on social media. However, he added that he has refocused his energy on the new music he is set to release. The rapper has received critical success for his previous works, with his 2021 solo album, ‘LP!’, earning a glowing four-star review from NME
