Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has finally been revealed, offering fans their first glimpse into the life of the developer’s fictional version of Florida. The game’s trailer has already garnered millions of views, and while its release window has been confirmed, less optimistic fans may be disappointed to learn that they will have to wait a while before returning to Vice City.
According to Take-Two Interactive’s earnings call in May 2024, the GTA 6 release date is set for Fall 2025 and will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The trailer confirms that the game will launch in 2025, with many speculating that it would arrive in Spring 2025, though this turned out not to be the case.
Rockstar Games has yet to confirm whether GTA 6 will be released on PC, and like the developer’s previous games, Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, it is expected to be released on consoles before making its way to PC.
