The official soundtrack for the highly anticipated Marvel film, Deadpool & Wolverine, has been released. Popular artists like Green Day, Stray Kids, and Avril Lavigne have contributed their musical talents to the album, which is made up of 18 tracks. The film, set to release in cinemas globally on July 26, marks the integration of both titular characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The sequel was co-written by Ryan Reynolds, who is reprising his role as the regenerative antihero alongside Hugh Jackman as the mutant X-Men figure.

Green Day’s 1997 single, ‘Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life),’ Stray Kids’ upcoming original song ‘Slash,’ and Avril Lavigne’s 2002 ballad ‘I’m With You,’ are all featured on the album. As well as classic guitar jams by Goo Goo Dolls, and Huey Lewis & The News. Star, Hugh Jackman appears on the track listing with ‘The Greatest Show’ from his 2017 musical The Greatest Showman. Additionally, the album features Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta’s ‘You’re The One That I Want’ from Grease (1978).

Deadpool & Wolverine marks the latest entry in Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds expressed his excitement and described the film as the “best movie [he’s] ever done.” The recently released trailer teased the return of an old X-Men foe when Wolverine is seen shouting, “Who’s next?”.
