Fans react to season finale of ‘The Boys’: “The best episode of the show”

The season finale of Amazon Prime Video’s hit show The Boys has been met with almost universal praise from fans. The eighth and final episode of the fourth season, which has been named one of the best TV shows of 2024 by NME, aired on July 17.

Kripke wrote on Twitter that he was thrilled to bring the story to a “gory, epic, moist climax” and expects season five to consist of eight episodes, with filming taking place from November 2024 to mid-2025. The release date for season five has not been confirmed, but it is likely to air in summer 2026.
