Former Speaker Of The House, John Bercow, has joined the cast of voice actors for the upcoming Fallout: London mod. This follows years of development, with the end of the mod in sight. Project lead, Dean Carter, has been teasing fans with tidbits of information, including the involvement of Bercow as the mod’s version of the Speaker of the House, voiced by Bercow himself. Carter confirmed that two former Doctor Who actors and Neil Newbon of Baldur’s Gate 3 have also joined the cast of voice actors.

A clip of the robotic Bercow has been shared in the Fallout: London discord. Formed of a robotic voice, the clip features Bercow saying his iconic phrase “order”, as well as “error” and “protect and survive,” which was a real slogan used in a British public information campaign about nuclear war. Some fans have been sceptical about Bercow’s inclusion in the game, however, Carter has confirmed that the mod does not use AI voices.

Fallout: London is Bercow’s first foray into voice acting since he stepped down as an MP in 2019, but he did feature in season two of The Traitors US. Unfortunately, the mod does not currently have a release date, and those who bought their copy of Fallout 4 via the Epic Games Store will have to wait even longer to play it. This is due to the mod requiring a downgraded version of the base game to run.
