Singer and guitarist Polly Money has released a new track called ‘Anything,’ which deals with her own imposter syndrome that she experienced while performing with The 1975. Money joined the pop-rock band on its ‘At Their Very Best’ tour two years ago as a live guitarist and vocalist. She wrote the track while being present during production rehearsals for the band’s American leg. Having traveled around the globe, Polly orginally thought bridging the gap between performer and fan was impossible. However, her own talent took her to places like Madison Square Garden and performing in Lollapalooza Chile in the Andes Mountains, and in the middle of an F1 track in São Paulo.

While touring with The 1975, Polly found herself sharing the lead vocalist duties on hits like ‘A Change of Heart’ and ‘About You,’ and eventually conducted her own singalong with the band’s fans on ‘Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America.’ Despite everything, she still found herself dealing with feelings of insecurity: “When it all comes down to it I’m just another / And I’m not even that good at it, I just got lucky / But they say that mm I deserve it  / But that ain’t the way that I feel about / I feel bout anything,” she sings in the chorus of her latest release.

Connor James and Chloe Kraemer, from Moa Moa, produced the indie pop track.
