Jamie Webster, the Liverpool-based singer-songwriter, has disclosed that he will be embarking on a headline tour of the UK and Ireland in 2024. The tour, which begins in Belfast and Dublin on November 15 and 16, then proceeds to Newcastle, Hull, Birmingham, and Glasgow, with a show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in north London on November 27. Tickets for the tour go on sale on July 19 at 10 am BST, but fans can have early access if they sign up to Webster’s mailing list by July 17.
The upcoming tour follows Webster’s critically acclaimed album titled “10 For The People”. Additionally, he performed on the Other Stage at Glastonbury 2024. In September, the singer will join Liam Fray, Blossoms, Jake Bugg, and The View at the “Liam Gallagher & Friends: Malta Weekender.”
Webster is expected to embark on a European tour in late October/early November before heading to Australia at the end of the year. In the meantime, he has been speaking out about the UK general election, praising Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner, particularly for being mocked for her northern accent and being held back in her career because of it.
Fans of the Liverpool native would no doubt be delighted to hear that the tour would kick off in Belfast on November 15 and 16 before moving to Newcastle, Hull, Birmingham, and Glasgow for the remaining dates.
