Catherine, the Princess of Wales, made her second public appearance alongside her daughter, Princess Charlotte, at the Wimbledon men’s singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. As patron of the All-England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Catherine presented the singles trophy to this year’s winner. The seven-times Wimbledon winner Djokovic defeated Alcaraz, securing his position as champion and marking his 20th Grand Slam title.

Catherine’s previous public appearance was in June, where she appeared at Trooping the Colour with her children waving from the Buckingham Palace balcony. In March, she revealed her cancer diagnosis and had to undergo abdominal surgery earlier this year. Despite the diagnosis, she remains optimistic about her health, stating that while she is making “good progress,” she is “not out of the woods yet.” She has good days and bad days, with her treatment ongoing for the next few months.

The Princess of Wales was met with a standing ovation from the spectators, who were pleased to see her back in good health and attending the prominent event. Before taking their seats, Catherine and Charlotte met with British tennis players including Emma Raducanu.

While Catherine has been settling in to watch the Wimbledon final, the Prince of Wales is in Berlin, gearing up to support England in the Euro 2024 final against Spain.
