The DJ, producer and fast-rising star Fred Again.. recently put on a surprise performance at the Rising Sun Pensford, a pub located in Brixton, Somerset. The set was intimate, with only a small group of people in attendance, but fans managed to capture footage and shared it on social media. During the set, Fred Again.. performed some of his own solo material as well as joining forces with Amber Bain of The Japanese House to perform her song ‘Sunshine Baby’, which he transformed with his signature keyboards.
The Rising Sun Pensford has not revealed what the private event was, but it was closed for the night, allowing Fred Again.. to perform to an invite-only gathering. The producer himself shared footage of his time at the pub on his Instagram Stories, describing how he was given the opportunity to perform with Amber Bain. Despite the secrecy surrounding the event, it attracted attention from fans as evidence of Fred Again..’s star power continues to grow.
While Fred Again.. and Amber Bain were at the pub, they took a break from performing together to capture some footage. Fans have shared clips of Fred Again.. excitedly explaining how he couldn’t stop smiling because of how magical Amber’s voice is. Fans have also discovered that this was not the first time that Fred Again.. has put on a secret set for his fans. At Glastonbury 2024, the producer surprised festival-goers with a live set in which he debuted new material.
Fred Again..’s star power continues to grow, and he will soon be headlining Reading & Leeds 2024 this August alongside several other well-known names in the music industry such as Lana Del Rey, Liam Gallagher, Catfish And The Bottlemen, Blink-182, and Gerry Cinnamon. Meanwhile, The Japanese House has recently released their new single ‘:)’ (pronounced ‘Smiley Face’), another indication that this musical collaboration is just getting started
