In the heart of Madrid, the third day of Mad Cool 2024 was a real treat for music lovers and festival-goers alike, who were treated to an array of unforgettable performances from some of the best musicians in the scene.
Opening the show to an excited crowd was indie pop band Alvvays, who delivered a dreamy set on the Orange Stage, leaving fans in awe and humming their tunes long after the final notes of ‘Easy On Your Own’ had faded away.
Next up was psychedelic soul band Black Pumas, who brought the groove to the Mad Cool stage as the hazy pink Spanish sunset shone in the background. Frontman Eric Burton even decided to get a little closer to his loving fans, serenading those in the front row.
Pop-punk icons Sum 41 played their last-ever show in Madrid as part of their farewell tour, much to the delight of their fans who sang along to their biggest hits, including ‘In Too Deep’ and ‘Fat Lip’.
Meanwhile, at the Mahou 0,0 Tostada stage, Spanish-Dutch artist Julia Sabaté proved she’s got what it takes to be one to watch with her melodic fusion of pop and electronica.
Closing the night in style were Italian rockers Måneskin, who delivered a frenzied, old-school rock and roll set that went well into the night. Their electric guitar solos were particularly impressive and had fans out of their seats and dancing along to their beats.
All in all, it was a fantastic day filled with incredible music and unforgettable moments for those lucky enough to be in attendance at Mad Cool 2024
