Kelly Lee Owens has announced the details of her upcoming fourth album, ‘Dreamstate’, set to be released on October 18 via new dance music label, dh2. The album features ten tracks, combining hard techno with emotive pop and will include collaborations with artists such as BICEP and Tom Rowlands of The Chemical Brothers. George Daniel, The 1975’s drummer, is credited as a producer on the album.
The first track from the album, ‘Love You Got’, is out now, accompanied by a music video directed by Samuel Bradley. Owens says the track was “born out of the curiosity of discovering my own inner euphoria,” and balancing “the dark and the light within myself to find ultimate bliss in connection with others.”
Owens performed unreleased tracks from the album at Glastonbury and is set to perform alongside Charli xcx at her Boiler Room performance at Ibiza’s Amnesia, and later at an album launch party at Brixton’s Phonox alongside George Daniel, Oscar Farrell and TimFromTheHouse.
The album is available for pre-order and the full tracklist is as follows:
– Dark Angel
– Dreamstate
– Love You Got
– Higher
– Rise
– Ballad (In The End)
– Sunshine
– Air
