Post-‘Breaking Bad’ Bryan Cranston series beats ‘Bridgerton’ to most-streamed on Netflix

Actor Bryan Cranston’s crime series “Your Honor” has become the most-streamed show on Netflix, beating out previous record-holder “Bridgerton.” The show originally aired on Showtime in 2021 but gained popularity after its two seasons were added to Netflix on May 31. From June 3-9, “Your Honor” was watched a total of 1.5 billion minutes on Netflix and Paramount+. From May 31-June 2, the series received 544 million minutes watched and made it onto Nielsen’s Top 10 list for streaming titles. “Your Honor” outranked other shows such as “Bridgerton,” “Bluey,” and “Hit Man.”

Cranston, known for playing Walter White in “Breaking Bad,” starred in “Your Honor” as well. He said he was “so proud” of the show and was happy it was getting a second chance on Netflix. He said in a statement that “there is a lot to be said for a second time” and that “millions more people now have the chance to catch up with this extraordinary show.” Cranston also spoke about “Breaking Bad” recently, saying that it was time to “let it go.” He added that everything in life is cyclical and that it’s okay to have a beginning, middle, and end.

In other news, Cranston revealed that he was once a murder suspect in the 1970s. Despite having no connection to the crime, he was questioned by police, and he later used the experience as inspiration for a character he played on “Breaking Bad.
