Taylor Swift shares acoustic version of ‘Fortnight’ with Post Malone

Taylor Swift has released an acoustic version of her latest single ‘Fortnite,’ featuring Post Malone. The acoustic version and a remix by Cults have been bundled with the original version on streaming platforms. This marks the latest edition of her latest album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ Ahead of the album’s release, Swift revealed four variants of the album, each including a bonus track. Hours after releasing ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ she revealed that the record was actually a double album, consisting of 15 new songs, including the four previously mentioned bonus tracks.

The album scored a three-star review from NME upon its release. The review stated that “she’s proved time and time again that she can do better.” Swift is currently on the European leg of her career-spanning ‘Eras’ tour, set to end in December. In a recent show in Edinburgh, strangers swapped friendship bracelets, laughed and cried together and embraced the tour’s in-jokes and lore.

Fans have not only been inspired by Swift to come out and embrace being a part of the ‘Eras’ family but have also named Scottish Loch in her honor. Swift continues to surprise her fans with her art and music, often delivering surprising new double albums.

The acoustic version of ‘Fortnite’ has a new, stripped-down feel to it, and it’s a great way to experience the song in a different way. Fans will be happy to have this new version to enjoy and to add to their playlists. It’s exciting to hear Swift and Malone’s voices stripped down, making the song more raw and emotional. Swift continues to be one of the most innovative and talented artists of her generation, continuing to surprise and delight her fans at every turn
