London-based music collective SAULT has just released a new album titled ‘Acts of Faith.’ The album contains just one track, with a length of 32 minutes. The tweet was paired with an image of a street scene on a TV screen showing the words “Acts of Faith” above.
SAULT marketed itself as a music collective purveyor that deals with Black-centric music across genres, ranging from R&B, reggae, soul to funk and disco. Innovative live shows are also a signature of the band, and the album launch photo could be seen as a reference to SAULT’s recent live show when they transformed the 15,000-capacity former IKEA into a multifaceted maze and installation accessible only through an open fridge door, taking visitors on a journey through a series of winding corridors and mirrored gardens to reach the band. The new album is the latest addition to the band’s collection, with back in January, Andre 3000 teasing a potential collaboration with them in an interview with Gilles Peterson
