During their ‘Rebel Diamonds’ tour, The Killers invited Andy Bell from the band Erasure to join them onstage at The O2 in London to perform ‘A Little Respect’ in front of the crowd. However, this was not the only special moment during their residency at The O2. On the previous night (July 4), the band invited a fan onstage to play the drums during ‘For Reasons Unknown’ to celebrate Independence Day.

A review by NME described the moment when Brandon Flowers reminded the crowd of the band’s success. “You’ve got to give the world irrefutable proof that you are who you say you are”, Flowers declared. “We’re The Killers – and we’re a great rock ‘n’ roll band. Here, let me show you.” The band’s vibrancy and passion dominated their setlist, which included their popular hits like ‘Mr Brightside’ and ‘When You Were Young.’ Additionally, they were joined in supporting acts by Travis, whose frontman, Fran Healy expressed admiration for The Killers’ performance.
