Magneto, one of Marvel’s most iconic characters, has made his way to Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3. Previous seasons have seen numerous Marvel characters join the game, both heroes and villains, and now it is Magneto’s turn to shine. With the X-Men now firmly a part of the MCU following their debut in a post-credits scene, Magneto has officially joined the fight.
To get Magneto in Fortnite, players will need to complete the Wrecked Season Pass quests, which are now available in-game. Completing the tasks outlined in the Season Pass quests menu of the Battle Pass will unlock Magneto in full. In the launch trailer for the season, players are given a glimpse of Magneto’s powers, such as turning a vehicle into a massive ball of metal and launching it towards an opponent; he can also create a shield to protect himself from oncoming damage.
Since Magneto’s introduction, gameplay has demonstrated how he is one of the most powerful characters in Fortnite, capable of quickly destroying vehicles and taking down opponents with ease. Additionally, Magneto comes with some impressive cosmetic items like a unique Glider that allows him to walk on metal plates. The character has already proven to be a popular addition to the game, with players eagerly battling it out against him in matches.
