Hailey Welch, better known as the ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl, made a special appearance during Zach Bryan’s ‘Quittin Time’ tour at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville. During the final song of the night, ‘Revival,’ the country singer invited Welch on stage, who went viral on social media for a comment she made during an on-the-street interview about what drives a man wild in bed. Welch responded with, “You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang!” After performing the song together, Welch yelled “hawk tuah!” to the cheering crowd.
Machine Gun Kelly is another artist exploring the country genre, recently covering Bryan’s ‘Sun To Me.’ Bryan was also joined on stage by Kacey Musgraves, who performed a duet of their 2023 hit ‘I Remember Everything’ during that same concert. Meanwhile, earlier this year, Bruce Springsteen and Maggie Rogers joined Bryan on stage at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in New York for a performance. The musicians played Bryan’s unreleased song ‘Sandpaper’ and his 2019 song ‘Revival.’
Fans of Zach Bryan had been on the lookout for Welch’s whereabouts and opined that if anyone could find her, it would be Bryan. Social media reacted to her appearance, with videos of her on stage mentioned in posts receiving millions of views.
Despite mixed reactions online surrounding Welch’s appearance, it certainly created a buzz at Bryan’s Nashville gig. Furthermore, Welch’s cameo adds to list of other artists who have shared the stage with Bryan, making it all the more likely fans will be eager for more of his concerts in the near future
