SZA gave her fans a sneak peek of her upcoming album ‘Lana’ during her headlining performance at BST Hyde Park. The singer teased a forthcoming single from the album and posted a teaser clip of the song on her Instagram account. The song, titled ‘Storytime’, features lyrics that quote people telling stories about her, some of them awful, but all of them true.
‘Lana’ has been in the works for quite some time now, and SZA first announced it last September, stating that what was supposed to be a deluxe edition of ‘SOS’ had turned into a whole new album. The album will feature seven to ten new songs and is expected to feature ‘Saturn’, a single SZA released in February this year. In March, she commented on unauthorized leaks from the album, stating that ‘Lana’ deserved more time and music that no one had ever heard before.
SZA’s BST Hyde Park set included many fan favorites, such as ‘Love Galore,’ ‘All the Stars,’ ‘Drew Barrymore,’ ‘Kiss Me More,’ ‘Kill Bill,’ and ‘Supermodel.’ She assured the Hyde Park crowd that it was her first time performing with her new set and that they felt like home. SZA is set to perform at Glastonbury 2024 this weekend, along with a host of other performers such as Shania Twain, Janelle Monae, The National, Two Door Cinema Club, and many others.
