Glastonbury 2024: Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg join crowd singalong of Oasis’ ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ before Coldplay set

Celebrated actors Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg were spotted singing along to Oasis’ ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ at Glastonbury 2024, just before Coldplay’s headlining set. The actors were joined by another famous actor, Gillian Anderson, and ‘Mission Impossible’ director, Christopher McQuarrie as they waited for Coldplay’s performance. In a video shared on social media, the actors and directors were seen joining the crowd below them in singing the chorus of the song.

Simon Pegg was present at the festival to introduce a 20th-anniversary screening of ‘Shaun of the Dead’ alongside director Edgar Wright, as part of the festival’s Pilton Palais Cinema programming. Just a week ago, Tom Cruise was seen attending Taylor Swift’s three-night Eras Tour run at Wembley Stadium.

Coldplay, who have made history by headlining Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage five times, brought several guests, including rapper Little Simz and Michael J. Fox during their set. The band performed their new song, ‘We Pray’, with Little Simz and Michael J. Fox played guitar on two songs in the encore.
