Declan McKenna recently spoke with NME concerning his upcoming tour with Sabrina Carpenter. The singer-songwriter confided that he received an email about the support gigs, but that he briefly met Carpenter before at Lollapalooza. McKenna shared his excitement for the opportunity during their chat at Glastonbury 2024. McKenna also let fans know to expect a bit of everything during the shows, and that he may have some special plans in mind.
The tour dates in question will see McKenna and Carpenter hit the road together later this year in the United States. Starting with an opening act in Columbus, Ohio on September 23, the two-month tour will make its way through the States before closing out in California on November 18. Remaining tickets for the tour can be found at Ticketmaster.
As well as the tour with Carpenter, McKenna has also announced shows across the UK for this summer. This includes shows in Halifax and Bridlington in July, and more shows in Bexhill, Nottingham, and Edinburgh throughout August. Tickets for these shows can also be found at Ticketmaster.
In other news, McKenna performed “Nothing Works” on Blue Peter earlier this year to celebrate his album ‘What Happened to the Beach?’
