As a big fan of metal music, collaborating with BMTH and contributing to their album was a full circle moment for AURORA. She was introduced to the band by a former lover who had passed away, and being given the opportunity to work with the band afforded her a sense of closure. Their collaboration was sparked by a mutual passion for advocating for Palestine and evolved into an invitation to create a song together.
When asked if a metal record could appear in her future, AURORA revealed that it was a possibility. She expressed her love for the genre and shared her desire to create a wave that feels like a deadly force. Additionally, AURORA announced her upcoming show at Wembley Arena, which she described as “crazy business,” and hinted at big plans for the performance.
Glastonbury holds a special significance for AURORA as it embodies the sense of peace, love, and community that she aims to reflect in her music. Despite feeling overwhelmed by the magnitude of the festival, she credited its ability to bring people together and create a sense of euphoria.
