Beck, the American singer-songwriter, performed his 2002 track ‘Paper Tiger’ on Jimmy Kimmel accompanied by a live orchestra. The performance was cinematic, followed by the upcoming orchestral tour. Beck’s performance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on July 6 is a part of this tour. The remaining tickets are available for purchase on the official website of Ticketmaster UK.

Beck also talked about his night flight with Sir Paul McCartney and Foo Fighter’s drummer Taylor Hawkins in 2016 at Tyga’s Grammy’s after-party. Beck said that McCartney suggested they go to the party, as his wife wanted to go dancing. They went to the address, but it wasn’t the correct destination. Unfortunately, when they arrived at the actual location, the gates were closed along with the doors. The doorman did not allow them to enter, leading to the rejection of the celebrity group.

The incident was filmed and shared on TMZ, where Paul McCartney could be heard asking the doorman, “How VIP do we gotta get?”. Tyga responded shortly afterward, denying that he had rejected McCartney, Beck, and Hawkins, saying that he wasn’t in control of the guest list, as he was only hired to perform for the party.

In the recent past, Beck collaborated with the Spanish rock band, Hinds, in releasing a new single named ‘Boom Boom Back’. The collaboration happened after a chance meeting between Beck and Hinds at a Los Angeles film screening. Beck’s last album release was ‘Hyperspace’ in 2019, which is a collaborative project with Pharrell Williams. Beck’s upcoming tour kicks off with his performance at Chateau St. Michelle Winery, Woodinville, WA, on July 3, followed by performances at different venues across the USA, ending with a performance at South Star Music Festival in Huntsville, AL, on September 20.

The concert and live orchestra performances by Beck are a must-watch for music enthusiasts and his fans. Despite his long career of over thirty years in the music industry, Beck still continues to shape-shift his music and genre effortlessly. NME rated Beck’s ‘Hyperspace’ a four-star album and stated that it proves to be a “daring new era” for the artist
