LE SSERAFIM to release new music in August, Source Music confirms

LE SSERAFIM, a K-pop girl group, is preparing for their next comeback. Sources reported that the five-member girl group is planning to release new music in August, which was later confirmed by their label Source Music. The upcoming release will follow their successful February mini-album, “Easy”, which was well-received and presented a new evolution in LE SSERAFIM’s oeuvre both thematically and musically. NME’s Rhian Daly gave the album a four-star review.

LE SSERAFIM made history two months after their album release by becoming the fastest-invited K-pop act to perform at Coachella. The group debuted a new song, “1-800-Hot-N-Fun,” at the festival. Fans are eagerly awaiting the new album, but it is unclear if the new Coachella track will be featured.

In other K-pop news, BTS’s Jimin has released a pre-release track titled “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band” featuring rapper Loco, from his upcoming solo album, “Muse.” The album is set to arrive next month and contains seven tracks.

Additionally, the former second-generation girl group, 2NE1, met up with former agency YG Entertainment’s executive producer, Yang Hyun-suk, regarding a potential reunion. According to the agency, the two parties held a “meaningful” discussion and hope to announce “good news” to fans soon.

Fans of K-pop and LE SSERAFIM, in particular, are excited about the upcoming album release and look forward to more news about the group’s schedule
