Glastonbury Festival is making its return this weekend, welcoming some of the biggest names in music to its legendary stage. Coldplay, SZA, and Avril Lavigne are among the artists set to perform at the festival’s iconic Worthy Farm location. Tickets for the event have already sold out, with attendees excited for a weekend of music, good vibes, and (with any luck) sunny weather.
For those who weren’t able to secure tickets, or are simply watching from home, BBC One, Two, and Four will air live festival highlights packages and full headline sets. In addition, short special features will showcase some of the artists and their road to Glastonbury. The weekend’s action can also be watched live on BBC iPlayer by searching for “Glastonbury.”
On Friday evening, coverage kicks off at 7:30 pm on BBC Four with Sugababes and Paul Heaton, followed by IDLES at 10:15 pm. Meanwhile, John Peel Stage headliner Dua Lipa will grace BBC One’s stage at 10 pm. Saturday’s coverage begins at 5 pm on BBC Two, featuring The Last Dinner Party and Keane on BBC Four, before Coldplay takes the headliner slot on BBC One at 10 pm.
Sunday sees yet another full evening of music, starting with Shania Twain at 6:15 pm on BBC One. You can also catch Paloma Faith, The National, Seasick Steve, and SZA, with the final headliner of the weekend closing out the show at 10 pm.
