Hyoyeon, a member of Girls’ Generation, will be embarking on a summer USA tour in 2024, with performances in Boston, Houston, and several other cities. The announcement was made through the group’s official X account, and follows the conclusion of her “Cherry Blossom” tour just two months ago, which also took place in the US.
The tour kicks off this coming weekend in Milwaukee and Boston before resuming at the ORA Nightclub in Seattle on August 23rd. The month of August is set to be a busy one for Hyoyeon, with concerts taking place in Costa Mesa, Houston, New York, and Chicago. The tour will conclude on September 1st in Chicago with the North Coast Music Festival.
Hyoyeon has released her recent single, “Picture”, in August 2023, following which, she released her first mini-album “Deep”, which included hit singles like “Dessert”, “Punk Right Now”, and “Sober”. The announcement of her upcoming tour comes just months after she was detained in Bali, Indonesia, along with several other Korean celebrities and crew while filming reality television programme “Pick Me Trip in Bali”. They were detained by local authorities who found that they had been filming without the required permits.
EXO’s Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin have recently filed a criminal lawsuit against two executives at SM Entertainment over royalty fees. Both EXO and Girls’ Generation are among the famous K-Pop groups managed by SM Entertainment, along with a number of other popular artists in the industry.
Hyoyeon’s upcoming tour will be a much-anticipated event for K-Pop fans all over America. With concerts in several cities, fans can expect to hear her hit singles live for an unforgettable experience
