Independent music group Transgressive Records has revealed that it will expand its 20th anniversary celebrations across Latitude, Green Man, and Glastonbury festivals this summer. The kick-start of the celebrations occurred on 28 June during Glastonbury Festival featuring artists such as Miso Extra, Future Bounce B2B DJs, along with Transgressive DJs and live Moonchild Sanelly performances. Contrastingly, Latitude Festival will have a Transgressive curated line-up on the Sunrise Arena on 25 July, that will feature KOKOKO!, The WAEVE (Graham Coxon and Rose Elinor Dougall), HotWax, Let’s Eat Grandma DJs, and Mystery Jets. Likewise, on August 16, the independent music provider will take over Walled Garden with HotWax and Transgressive DJs during the Green Man Festival.
Transgressive Records will not merely be limited to local celebrations, as the company will also host a showcase of its US artists. The event will occur on 25 September in its recently opened office in New York City. The labelling agency of the independent music provider, consisting of the record label, publisher, and management firm, will feature artists such as The Antlers, MICHELLE, Mykki Blanco, and more. In contrast to the celebratory tone, Transgressive Records has collaborated with charities War Child and Music Venue Trust to host gigs, themed around independent musicians, orchestration, and the 20th anniversary of the firm. The venue of the gigs will be within the iconic venues of London, and will feature digital performances from independent musicians who have collaborated with Transgressive Records for two decades.
