PENTAGON, a K-pop boyband, are planning to reunite later this year, according to member Wooseok. Last year, CUBE Entertainment, the group’s longtime agency, did not renew the contracts of five members of the act. While the band did not officially disband, their future together was unclear at the time.
However, Wooseok recently spoke about PENTAGON and their plans. He said that the band is not disbanded, and that they are always in contact and meeting up. Some members are working on their solo careers, and others are pursuing acting.
PENTAGON recently met to share their schedules and to find time to work together. While nothing is planned or scheduled yet, Wooseok hopes that the group will be able to get together for a performance in September, October, or November. He added that even if they don’t release an album, they still want to perform together.
Kino, another member of PENTAGON, released his first solo EP last month under his self-established label NAKED. The album, titled ‘If this is love, I want a refund,’ features the single ‘Broke My Heart’ with American rapper Lay Bankz.
