Josh Baker has just launched his latest single, ‘Something To Me’, which is sure to be a hit this summer. Released via Three Six Zero, the track features warm synths and a soulful vocal, making it a perfect addition to any summer playlist. The single has already gained support from artists such as Chris Stussy, Skream, Prospa, and I.JORDAN.
A teaser of the track was posted by Josh on TikTok, which has generated over 100,000 views. The track’s TikTok ‘sound’ has already been used over 200 times, allowing users to create their own content using the single as a musical overlay. Talking about the response, Josh says that “the buzz around the tune has been wild”.
This is a significant moment for Josh, as he has not previously worked with a vocalist. He believes that this single is pivotal for his career as a producer. Josh is also the founder and organizer of the Hide and Seek festival, which will take place in Manchester next month. Despite more than 40 UK festivals being cancelled this summer, Hide and Seek will go ahead, showcasing artists such as Chaos in the CBD, Chris Stussy, and Dan Shake.
Josh is incredibly proud of what he and his team have achieved with Hide and Seek over the last five years and is excited about this year’s event. He looks forward to what’s in store and believes that this year’s event will be the most significant yet.
