The Killers cover The Stone Roses’ ‘Ten Storey Love Song’ in Manchester

The Killers have paid tribute to The Stone Roses by performing the band’s hit song “Ten Storey Love Song” live for the first time ever. Brandon Flowers and his bandmates played the cover during their third show at Manchester’s Co-Op Live arena, which marked the third of their four shows in the city.

While a full video of the performance has yet to make its way onto the internet at the time of writing, fans have shared a couple of short snippets on social media. The Killers have also covered New Order’s “True Faith” for the first time since 2018, much to the excitement of their audiences.

Elsewhere during the Co-Op Live show, The Killers played hits like “Mr. Brightside,” “Human,” “Read My Mind,” and “When You Were Young.” The full setlist for the evening was shared on NME’s website.

The remaining tour dates for The Killers will see them perform three shows at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro before heading to London for six consecutive nights at The O2. The concerts mark the band’s first live shows in over two years.

Despite the long hiatus, The Killers have never lost their touch, with fans and critics alike praising their recent shows. Speaking to NME, Flowers said that his band was excited to be back on stage and that they were looking forward to entertaining their audiences.
