7 incredible K-dramas to watch in June 2024 on Netflix, Disney+ and more

K-drama enthusiasts, get ready for a thrilling July in 2024! Leading the entertainment pack is Disney+’s upcoming sensation, Red Swan, which follows the intriguing story of a woman who rises from an impoverished family to become a pro golfer, only to marry the heir of the wealthy Hwang Group. As she discovers secrets of his family history, her bodyguard Seo Do-yoon comes into the picture, sparking a doubt about his true motives.

Returning for its third and final season is Netflix’s blockbuster post-apocalyptic thriller, Sweet Home, chronicling the final showdown between humans and monsters. Meanwhile, The Auditors features Shin Ha-kyun’s small screen comeback as the head of an audit team working to weed out corruption in a construction company while No Way Out: The Roulette portrays the aftermath of a reviled murderer’s release from prison.

Stepping away from action-packed plots, Serendipity’s Embrace presents a romance drama adapted from popular webcomic Is It Fate?. Also making its debut this month is South Korean remake of US series Your Honor, starring Son Hyun-joo and Kim Myung-min. Finally, Good Partner details an uneven partnership between two female lawyers played by Jang Na-ra and Nam Ji-hyun.

Red Swan is a Disney+ original following the ascent of Oh Wan-soo into the elite realm of pro golfing from her financially deprived background, landing her a wealthy husband, Kim Yong-guk, heir to Hwang Group. As the story unfolds, Wan-soo becomes the CEO of a foundation and develops a romantic spark with her bodyguard, Do-yoon, whilst trying to unveil his true motives for getting close to the Hwan Group.

In The Auditors, Shin Ha-kyun stars as Shin Cha-il, who leads an audit team at a corrupt construction company. His young and optimistic colleague Gu Han-soo introduces individualism to the audit team and clashes with Cha-il, whilst the ambitious Yoon Seo-jin starts at the company to move up the career ladder. Good Partner taps into the work partner dynamic between two lawyers with entirely different values and personalities. The experienced and practical veteran lawyer, Cha Eun-kyeong, prioritizes client interests while the young idealistic Han Yoo-ri endeavors to tackle injustices.

Sweet Home 3 is the final season of the epic post-apocalyptic tale whose first two seasons were wildly popular. It pieces together an increasing blurring of lines between humans and monsters that sets up the climax between the two sides. Serendipity’s Embrace revolves around aspirations of first loves Lee Hong-joo and Kang Hoo-yeong after ten years of separation, now in reverse roles: he is a financial planner, and she is an animator and producer who is afraid of love.

Based on an American TV series of the same name, Your Honor features Son Hyun-joo’s portrayal of the upright judge Song Pan-ho, clashing with the head of a cartel, Kim Gang-heon, played by Kim Myung-min. Finally, No Way Out: The Roulette delves into investigating a heinous killer released from prison, with Detective Baek Joong-shik and Lawyer Lee Sang–bong working as a team to protect him from an angry mob.

These dynamic K-dramas are sure to keep viewers at the edge of their seats in July 2024. Tune in to Disney+, Netflix, SBS, tvN, and U+Mobile TV to see these hit series as they air
