Willow has announced a special orchestral show in Los Angeles, California. The talented singer, who recently released her sixth album ‘Empathogen’, will take to the stage at The Ford for a one-off performance on Friday October 25. In collaboration with conductor Derrick Hodge and the Color Of Noize Orchestra, Willow will re-imagine hits like ‘Whip My Hair’, ‘Wait A Minute!’, ‘Meet Me At Our Spot’ and more.
The artist will showcase the “meditative mix of jazz, classical, and indigenous tribal music” from her latest studio record. Tickets for the show will go on general sale at 10 am local time on June 28, and fans can also register for a pre-sale until 10 pm on June 25. Willow’s latest album ‘Empathogen’ features collaborations with Jon Batiste and St. Vincent, as well as the singles ‘Big Feelings’ and ‘Symptom Of Life’.
Willow recently reflected on her 2010 debut single ‘Whip My Hair’, calling it the foundation for everything that has since come. She said, “It was a lot of fun. I am so grateful – I would never take it back.” The singer has also opened up about feeling insecure being a “nepo baby”.
