Guns N’ Roses will reportedly have a busy year in 2025, according to Slash. Despite individual members pursuing their own projects, Slash disclosed that they will focus on Guns N’ Roses in 2025. The news came during an interview with Loudwire Nights where Slash revealed that he will first be heading into the studio with the Conspirators, his venture with Myles Kennedy, before shifting attention to Guns N’ Roses with a possible tour in the summer. Slash is keeping busy with his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. tour and upcoming Conspirators project, in the meantime.
The long-standing rock band has been working on new material, and Slash recently commented that they were “trying” to create a new album. The last full-length album was the 2008 release Chinese Democracy, which Slash was not involved in. Following his return to the group in 2016, Guns N’ Roses has released some new tracks such as Absurd, Hard Skool, Precious, and The General, but have not confirmed a new album.
Slash works with the band in this capacity and said that he did not want to involve any outside artists in his solo album, considering it was separate from his Guns N’ Roses commitments. Guns N’ Roses were last seen in the UK at Glastonbury in 2024, where they headlined the festival. Although the band received a three-star review by NME, the Guns N’ Roses set at this hippie hotspot, according to NME, seemed out of place, with the majority of the setlist going unrecognized by the audience
