Goldin Auctions recently ended its bidding process for a signed CD of Taylor Swift’s self-produced recordings, which was recorded when she was just 11 years old. The CD includes six tracks, including two original songs that have never been released. The remaining four songs are covers of classic hits by The Chicks (formerly the Dixie Chicks), Dolly Parton, and Olivia Newton-John. According to the official Goldin Auctions website, there were 53 bids placed between May 19 and June 16, and the winning bid was locked in at $12,505 USD.

In addition to the recording, the signed copy also includes a printing of Swift’s photo and contact information, including an email address and her website. Swift recently confirmed that her “Eras” tour, which began in March of 2023, will come to an end this December. The tour has recently crossed its 100th show and will take her around Europe before returning to North America for her final grouping of concerts in Miami, New Orleans, and Indianapolis in October and November, followed by Canada. Her last show of the year, and seemingly of the “Eras” tour as a whole, is currently scheduled for December 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Despite the success of her current tour, Swift has faced significant controversy in recent years, including disputes over the ownership of her earlier work and her decision to speak out on political issues. Despite this, she remains one of the most successful and recognizable pop stars in the world, with a vast, devoted fan base and a string of chart-topping hits to her name.
