The official birthday of British monarch King Charles III was celebrated with great fanfare on Saturday, as the Royal Air Force executed a flyover of central London. The flyover was in honour of the King’s first ever Trooping the Colour, a ceremonial event conducted annually to mark the birthday of the British sovereign. Despite ongoing concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, crowds still gathered to observe the spectacle, donning masks and socially distancing as they viewed the flypast from vantage points along the route.
