The All Things Go Festival has announced its lineup for the inaugural New York edition, featuring performances from Janelle Monáe, Chappell Roan, MUNA and more. The festival, known for its women-focused and LGBT+ inclusive lineups, will take place on September 28-29 at Forest Hills Stadium. While the festival is usually held in Columbia, Maryland, All Things Go has recently expanded to other cities including Washington, D.C.

Other artists set to join Monáe, Roan, and MUNA include Reneé Rapp, Ethel Cain, Towa Bird, Julien Baker, Holly Humberstone, Samia, Del Water Gap, Soccer Mommy, Mannequin Pussy, and more. The full lineup can be found on the festival’s website, where remaining tickets can also be purchased.

Previous headliners of All Things Go include Lorde, Bleachers, Mitski, Billie Eilish, HAIM, Charli XCX, St Vincent, Maggie Rogers, and CHVRCHES. The festival has also recently made headlines with MUNA’s Naomi McPherson set to make her acting debut as Janis Ian on ‘SNL 1975’.

Janelle Monáe has opened up about feeling “othered” early on in her career. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Monáe recalled releasing her 2007 ‘Metropolis: The Chase Suite’ EP and feeling like she had to suppress certain parts of herself to be understood by a wider audience. She has since proven that idea wrong, with the frequency of her music resonating with listeners. Monáe is set to headline the first-ever I Made Rock ‘N’ Roll Festival this Saturday in Indianapolis.

Meanwhile, Chappell Roan has debuted a new song titled ‘Subway’ at Governors Ball and revealed that she turned down an invitation to perform at the White House for Pride
