Michael Mosley's wife Clare says she won't lose hope over missing presenter

TV and radio presenter Michael Mosley went missing after setting off for a walk on Agios Nikolaos beach on the Greek island of Symi on Wednesday. His disappearance prompted a search and rescue operation, which resumed on Saturday. The new CCTV footage shows the 67-year-old walking towards rocky hills in the village of Pedi, heading north-east. This is believed to be one of the last sightings of him before he went missing.

Mosley’s wife, Dr. Clare Bailey Mosley, has been searching the island for him, assisted by friends. The couple’s four children have also arrived on Symi to help with the search. The Greek authorities and British Consulate are also working tirelessly to help find Mosley.

Greek authorities have shifted their search operation to the mountainous terrain of the island. In this area, it is easy to get lost off the trail, wander off and get injured, so it would be challenging for Mosley to survive in this area alone.

Mosley is a journalist, author, documentary maker, and presenter. He has been working as a presenter for the past two decades, mainly as a producer, journalist, and documentary maker. His wife, Dr. Bailey Mosley, is a doctor, author, and a healthy living advocate. The couple recently appeared at the Hay Festival where Dr. Mosley presented a special edition of Just One Thing.

The search will continue until Mosley is found, said Symi’s mayor Eleftherios Papakaloudoukas. Before moving into TV, Mosley studied medicine in London and qualified as a doctor. Police and firefighters are using drones, a helicopter, and a sniffer dog to locate him but have not found him yet
