Rihanna has announced that she will launch Fenty Hair later this month, marking her fifth company to be founded under her Fenty empire. The haircare line will be launched on Thursday, June 13th and focuses on “stronger by style.” It will feature non-medicated hair care preparations, non-medicated dandruff shampoo, hair styling preparations, hair straightening preparations, hair relaxing preparations, hair waving preparations, non-medicated hair restoration lotions, hair bleaching preparations, hair coloring preparations, and hair glitter. Rihanna’s new line is described to be flexible with products that strengthen and repair all types of hair.
The trademark for Fenty Hair was first filed back in March 2021, and the products and information about the launch have been kept under wraps. Rihanna has been focused on building her businesses since releasing her last album, “Anti,” in 2016, teasing fans with the promise of “R9″ while debuting a skincare line, Fenty Skin, in 2020.
In addition to Fenty Hair, Rihanna’s Fenty empire includes Fenty Beauty, an inclusive and diverse cosmetic line launched in 2017, Savage X Fenty, a size-inclusive lingerie brand launched in 2019, and a Fenty high-fashion house unveiled in 2019 in union with French luxury goods conglomerate, LVMH. Rihanna and LVMH agreed to put the fashion house on hold in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the star’s other ventures.
The hitmaker is known for her influence and cultural impact, most notably as the first woman to have 10 songs reach one billion streams on Spotify and headlining the 2023 Super Bowl Halftime Show.”
Concerning her new haircare line Fenty Hair, Rihanna says, “You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I’ve had almost every texture, colour, [and] length – from weaves to braids to natural. So, I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need!
