Floorplan, the duo from Detroit consisting of Robert and Lyric Hood, are preparing to release their new album, ‘The Master’s Plan’, which features 18 tracks and includes collaborations with Honey Dijon, Dames Brown, and others. The forthcoming LP on Classic Music Company is the first from the duo in five years and marked their fourth studio album to date. ‘The Master’s Plan’ is a combination of their iconic sound, balancing contrasting elements of light and dark techno and house.
“We are grateful to be able to share our music with the world, especially the dance community,” shared Robert Hood on the creation of the album. “This is an invitation to eternal salvation,” he continued. “The ‘Master’s Plan’ is expanding on the precept that where we’re going, those who believe, are never going to grow old and will never die.”
‘The Master’s Plan’ is expected to be released on the 21st of June and has recently unveiled its final track, ‘Feel It’, which Robert Hood credits to his daughter for changing his viewpoint on Detroit house music. Both artists have experienced busy programmes over the past few years with solo projects and long touring schedules, making this collaboration a highly anticipated and welcomed release.
‘The Master’s Plan’s’ tracklist is available to view, and the album is now available for pre-orders. Classic Music Company will release the album and make it available through various music platforms.
