Yungblud announces second stage line-up for BludFest

Yungblud has revealed the support acts for the second stage at BludFest. The festival, scheduled for Sunday, August 11, sees the Doncaster artist play the largest show thus far at the Milton Keynes Bowl. Recent collaborator Lil Yachty is among the host of support acts promised, which also include Soft Play, Nessa Barrett, The Damned, Lola Young, and Jazmin Bean.

Further five artists have also been included and confirmed for the event in today’s announcement from Yungblud. The acts include Jesse Jo Stark, Landon Barker, Hannah Grae, and Aziya. Additionally, Landon Barker, the son of Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, joins the line-up, marking one of the additions for the second stage.

On Twitter, Yungblud shared the news and the updated BludFest poster today, adding, “Our world. Our movement. The biggest gathering of our culture is happening August 11th and this is the BLUDFEST FULL LINE UP. Just wait till you see what we have planned. Tell yer mates, get your tickets from the link in my bio. I’ll see you at @bludfest … I can’t fookin wait.”

Yungblud’s plans for BludFest, his very own music festival, has been public knowledge since March. In an interview with NME, he explained how the idea for the festival came about. “This whole thing has been about fucking with people. When press don’t write about us, when labels don’t want us, when festivals don’t take us seriously, when people don’t take my generation seriously, let’s just poke the bear every time and piss everyone off to see if we can get away with it. We’re a community, we’re getting bigger, we’re gonna do it anyway!”

Some questioned the anyone’s intent behind BludFest, and Yungblud has been defending the event from critics since the announcement. “Music belongs to the people. That’s the way it should be,” he replied.
