Socialite Paris Hilton has revealed that her sophomore album, Infinite Icon, will be released in September. She originally spoke about the record in 2017, citing inspiration from deep house, techno-pop, and electro-pop. The album is executive produced by Sia, and in the build-up to the announcement, Hilton shared a teaser video with cameos from celebrity friends like Miley Cyrus and Lance Bass.
Hilton first released music in 2006 with her debut album Paris, which included her biggest hit, “Stars Are Blind.” The socialite re-released the song in December 2022, but renamed it “Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version).” She later joined Sia to release the upbeat, self-help single “Fame Won’t Love You” from the latter’s album Reasonable Woman.
Infinite Icon will be released on September 6 through 11:11 Media, which was launched by Hilton. Ahead of the full LP, she has released remixes of “Stars Are Blind,” including one featuring Kim Petras, and an original single called “Hot One.” Hilton has also worked with Steve Aoki on their collaborative track “Lighter.”
In October 2023, Hilton spoke with NME about her love of music, saying, “music has always been such a huge part of my life. I love DJing all around the world and at the biggest music festivals and having my concerts, but singing is something that I just love to do and I’m so proud to be in the studio.
