In a recent announcement, LCD Soundsystem revealed that they will be performing an eight-night residency in the city of Los Angeles. The Californian gig series will commence on the 31st October at the Shrine Expo Hall, with the band playing four consecutive nights on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of November. The residency dates will then continue on the 7th November at the Hollywood Palladium with another four straight nights.
Fans are being offered a ticket pre-sale which will be accessible upon registering on the band’s official website. For American Express Card Members, an exclusive deal will be available, allowing them to purchase tickets ahead of the general public from the 4th to 6th June. General sale will start on the 7th June, with tickets and further details available through AXS and Ticketmaster respectively.
This residency comes after an already impressive collection of live show announcements from LCD Soundsystem. The band is set to perform at a Malahide Castle show in June, alongside the likes of IDLES, Young Fathers, and Shit Robot. The group will also be headlining on this year’s edition of Glastonbury festival, and additionally, lead the bill for the 2024 edition of Portugal’s MEO Kalorama.
