LCD Soundsystem will embark on an eight-night residency in Los Angeles later this year, starting from October 31 at the Shrine Expo Hall. The band led by James Murphy will then perform four consecutive nights at the same venue on November 1, 2, and 3, before taking four straight nights at the Hollywood Palladium from November 7. Fans who register will access a ticket pre-sale beginning on June 5. The pre-sale will end on June 6 while American Express Card Members can start purchasing tickets three days earlier, beginning at 10 am PST.
LCD Soundsystem has been announcing numerous live shows including performance at Malahide Castle in Ireland next month with other bands such as IDLES, Young Fathers, and Shit Robot. Besides, the band is set to perform in London’s All Point East in August, sharing the stage with Jai Paul, Pixies, Floating Points, Jockstrap, Nation of Language, a live show from Sofia Kourtesis and Eyedress. The band will also perform this year at Glastonbury Festival, while leading the bill for the 2024 edition of MEO Kalorama in Lisbon, alongside Massive Attack and Sam Smith. The announcement of their LA residency follows their slew of live shows on their calendar.
